About: Kotoko Kawamura-Kroesen was a Japanese actress, born in Kyoto. She lived in Santa Monica, California, for more than 40 years, then moved to Maui, Hawaii. She became an actress late in life, when she was about 70 years old, and is best known for her role in Memoirs of a Geisha (2005).
